This was what I sent in to Active.com when I filled out the registration for 2011. I wonder if they'll even notice... I'm training this winter with a fire in my belly as I have unfinished business on this course. So watch out Lake Placid. I'm coming for you....

I would love to compete in an Ironman with my dad...but since he had triple bypass surgery about 10 years ago, I don't think his ticker could handle it :o)
Wow, Ryan must be hard up for family if he's looking to you Santa. Lunar Phoenix won't let you down at IMLP this year. Additional safety tip, if it's windy, which Placid always is, skip the chicago style Zipps. Keep the watts up and your HR down man. I wanna see another podium out of you Mister.

Not sure about the trivia factor that you have but that could be a case for inspection once you join the race.
